Happy New Year

2014 is almost over, for many it's a sigh of relief and others it couldn't come sooner. It's been a memorable year for many as well. As we move forward into 2015, I wanted to write about what was in 2014 and what will in 2015.

StickerGate
In what is was dubbed the crime of the century in the small Borough of Nazareth, StickerGate took the media by storm. Three of Nazareth's most notorious vilians were accused of bruising the ego of a tyrant cupcake chief that runs the Police Department. All three men took their case to the magestrial level and had their fictional charges dropped but not before "Suck It Up Cupcake" plastered the media limelight. Since then, Nazareth's Stickergang, has promised to sue the Borough with their legal deam team by their side. We will see what 2015 brings for the dangerous trio.

Blog-itis
2014 allowed for the introduction of blogging into our social media party. Since the StickerGate trial all has been quiet on the home front. Today has giving us a chance to reflect on our journey and see how social media has truly become apart of the American lifestyle.

2015: A Better Nazareth Starts Now
Notorious StickerGang leader Trevor Gehret has made his mark on Nazareth. Liked or hated he won't stop at StickerGate. It has been rumored that the leader has plans to run for a spot on Borough Council and has every intention of shaking up his hometown. Though not confirmed by Gehret himself, it wouldn't be a suprise if it does happen.

What would a run at council mean? Many ideas and push for changes within Nazareth. It would also open up the door for a younger council to take over. The Better Nazareth Starts With You slogan has been seen on postcards and shirts in various parts of town. Will it catch on?

With that, we end on a positive note and hope each and every single one of you have a wonderful and safe New Year and we look forward to kicking off 2015 in style.

StickerGang Invades Stockertown

They're everywhere it seems. Those Dangerous StickerGang members have been spotted, this time is neighboring Stockertown Borough. Armed with memorabilia, two of the members of Nazareth's Dangerous StickerGang appeared at the council meeting. "Are you here for a school project?" asked one council member. A chuckle erupted from the gang and council.

After the meeting, members from council and Mayor Charlie Davis met with the StickerGang duo. "Can we have your autograph?" asked on member. "What they did was childish and they deserved to be called cupcakes," chimed another. All in all it was a good night.

Disclaimer: No stickers were posted in Stockertown during publication of this blog.

Shimer Gets The Gang

You know your fucked when you catch Nazareth Police doing their job. Early Friday morning while doing his early morning street patrols newly hired police officer Adam Shimer ticketed a vehicle belonging to one of the members of Nazareth's Dangerous StickerGang

When asked about the ticket, ringleader Trevor Gehret jokingly said "I thought we had it like that!" When asked wether he planned to appeal the vandalism purportrated by Shimer, Gehret replied saying "Mr. Shimer is a fine police officer, he takes pride in his job unlike some other police officers within the department. Had he known it belonged to us he would have still left a ticket for being parked on the street on a night I shouldn't have been."

The latest ticketing didn't phase the StickerGang ringleader as he laughed and joked about it. It's incidents like this that make Nazareth Borough look good.

StickerGang Press Release

It's been months since we've heard anything from the trio who were accused of littering Nazareth with tiny postage size stickers. Today, the media outlet StickerGate Media is expected to release a press statement surrounding the recent events that have been taking place in Nazareth.

We expect comment from the trio, however nothing has been mentioned as to the extent of the content to be released.

"We are disappointed that members of
         local government, Borough Council
and those of the Nazareth Police Dept.
         would issue such radical statements".

This is just the highlight of issues surrounding the latest sticker vandalism to occur. We will have further details once the press release is out.

Check here for on going developments.

Camden Yard Says Hello To StickerGang Member

She's a thing of beauty. A ballpark unique to itself and its surroundings. When history meets celebrity the result is stunning. Today the old girl got taken over by a member of Nazareth's Dangerous StickerGang. Trevor Gehret, the "ring leader" of the dangerous trio struck this historic ballpark to soak up her untouched beauty.

To everyone's surprise the StickerGang leader left his paraphernalia at home. Not so dangerous after all are they? It was a hard nine innings for both as Baltimores finest kept a close eye on Gehret. Yes, they're known in Baltimore. The cupcake king himself would have been embarrassed to see these professionals shake the hand of what many believe to be a hardened criminal.

In the end, both Gehret and Oriole Stadium at Camden Yard both paid their respect to each other upon departure. It was a great day to be in Maryland and not have to worry about the troubles at home. After a 3-2 Red Sox victory it's time to head home.

On that note, we will leave you with some amazing photos of the StickerGang adventure to old Camden Yard.

Banned From Council

The StickerGang has finished its task of notifying the Borough they mean business. On June 27th, the StickerGang was shackled and cuffed only to be paraded through Nazareth enroute to Judge Capobianco for arraignment. This was just the beginning of the crime soon to be dubbed "StickerGate" by the media.

StickerGate kicked off in full effect with each defendant receiving unsecured bail. On July 18th, they visited Northampton County Court of Common Pleas for a bail modification hearing. Disgusted by the doings of the Nazareth Police Department, Judge Emil Giordano lifted the sanctions against the trio.

The fun was just beginning. Awaiting their preliminary hearing, the trio braved their critics and carried on with their daily schedules of full-time employment and daily excercises. August couldn't come quick enough for the trio. It's been a journey for the trio, having to read the comments and being defenseless against them. Nevertheless it didn't stop them from making StickerGate a well publicized media hog.

When the trio finally faced Judge Jaquline Taschner, the real work began. After nearly 5 hours inside the courtroom the case and charges were dismissed. The trio was free. The media lit up their papers and online feeds with the now famous "suck it up cupcake" quote from Judge Taschner. It didn't stop there.

The media has been publishing the trios journey and beating up on the local police department who received a covenant "turkey" from the express times and Chief Trachta even made it to an episode of Jeopardy in the Morning Call. Now the real trial starts. Silenced by their legal team, the StickerGang is banned from attending future council meetings until further notice.

This should come to a relief for Borough Council as the outspoken ringleader will no longer be a pain to them. So what now? We sit and wait. All three men have notified Nazareth Borough of their intent, now we can only sit and see where this journey goes.

Silence of the Stickergate Trio

For weeks now, Stickergate has plagued the media lime light. As you may recall some nearly 250 2" x 2" stickers stating "FT: Fire Trachta" the Nazareth Police Chief, have surfaced in the borough. On June 27th, three men were charged in what has been dubbed as "StickerGate: Nazareth's Crime of the Decade". Shackled and handcuffed, these men were paraded around in a "staged perp" walk issued by Police Chief Thomas Trachta himself. Since then, many people across the United States have raced to the rescue of these men, criticizing the local police department and expressing their outrage of the excessive use of power. Since this story broke weeks ago, we haven't heard much from the trio via social media or in the newspapers themselves. That is until recent. Since this story broke, one of the three "sticker bandits" has been busy with the media. Trevor Gehret, the dubbed "ring-leader" of the sticker trio has been busy publicly criticizing the police department.

At Monday's council meeting in Nazareth, Gehret spoke to the members of council for the first time since his arrest on June 27th. "Our Police Department needs to be investigated", Gehret claimed as he laid out a section of the Pennsylvania Crimes Code Section 6905 which prohibits anyone from hanging signs or any material onto a public utility pole with a metal object. He also called out current part-time police officer Eric Schwab for being at a party while on duty in a Nazareth uniform. "Maybe, if our officers spent more time patrolling the town instead of hanging out at other officers houses while there's a party in process we wouldn't have petty crime going on in Nazareth". Gehret attended the meeting with local LehighValleyRamblings blogger Bernie O'Hare who too was furious about the police department. O'Hare issued council an indictment against Chief Thomas Trachta and called for an investigation to be conducted.

As for the other two members of the StickerGate trio, they've been silent. In their latest public blurb, the search for defense attorneys was underway. Today we've learned that all three men have been picked up by well known Lehigh Valley attorneys and are remaining tight lipped about who they have to represent them. We do know that as of now, "The Stickergate Dream Team" is ready to go. You can follow the duo on this blog or via Twitter @StickerGate. We will keep you informed about the developments in this story as they unfold.
